Moss and Roy Freak Out!

Woo-hoo! It’s Sunday. (AKA my version of Friday)

Sarah update: I feel like not a lot happened this week, even though I was pretty busy. I cleaned, my sister and L came into town earlier in the week so I could baby-sit him (sooooo exhausting, watching that kid), and I tried to sneak in blogging, reading, and relaxing whenever I could. Oh and my work schedule was a little weird because someone asked me to switch shifts with them, so that threw me off a bit.

Amanda and L came into town again on Saturday, but this time she brought her new boyfriend and so far, I approve. My poor little sister has dated some serious jackasses (that’s not mean, she knows it), but this guy seems really nice so far and she seems really happy, which of course makes me happy.

Maurice Moss

Moss is my favorite character on The IT Crowd so far. Obviously.

On Monday when I couldn’t sleep, I started watching a British show on Netflix called The I.T. Crowd and it was hilarious, and then the honeyman got home and caught part of it and he liked it too, so we’ve been watching that this week. I’m a little bummed that each season is only 6 episodes though, what the hell? And there’s only 4 seasons, so it probably won’t take up long to watch them all.

I’ve started doing treadmill intervals at the gym, and they suck. I’m ATTEMPTING to try to improve my running, because I know my sister Heather wants to do some runs together. I was going to download that Couch to 5K app but it doesn’t really seem useful for running on the treadmill, and it’s way too freaking cold to run outside. Sooo I just set up the intervals on the treadmill and do those for like 20 minutes. I’m a little ashamed of how bad it kicked my butt this week. Cardio is my jam, but running is so much harder and after the second day my shins started hurting a bit. Hoping it gets a little easier this coming week.

Reading update: I finished 3 books this week – The Baby Boon, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Blackberry Winter. That sounds like a lot for one week, but it’s really not. And I did a lot of blogging this week, so I’m mildly burnt out from the internet. I did start a new monthly feature though, Mini-Review Recap, in which I recap all of the books I’ve read in the past month with tiny review blurbs. I know that I really like mini-reviews on other blogs because sometimes I’m just too lazy to read a whole review, especially if it’s a book I’ve never heard of before. I don’t think I’m alone in that, so hopefully ya’ll will find the mini-reviews interesting.

Right now I’m reading Retribution Falls by Chris Wooding, which so far is awesome and fun and unique and hopefully I’ll be finishing it today or tomorrow. And of course I’m going to be starting the 3rd Harry Potter book this week.

And now, some links to stuff I found interesting…

OKAY time for me to get back to my book. And you know, work. I should probably do some work… have a great week guys!
